Rose Firefighter Red
$39.99
Hybrid Tea ·
Firefighter® is the epitome of a classic red rose—deeply saturated, velvety blooms with an intense old rose fragrance. But beyond its beauty, this variety carries deep meaning: it was selected as the very first sponsorship rose of the Remember Me garden fund. A portion of proceeds from every plant sold helps support the creation of public gardens across the U.S. honoring the lives lost on 9/11.
This vigorous Hybrid Tea produces large, high-centered flowers with up to 40 lush petals, borne mostly one per stem—perfect for dramatic cut arrangements. Its bushy, upright growth habit is complemented by clean, dark green foliage. Cooler temperatures intensify the bloom’s bold red coloring, making it an unforgettable garden presence from late spring through fall.
Features:
- Large, velvety red blooms with intense fragrance
- Excellent cut flower with long, study stems
- Repeat blooms from late spring through fall
- Disease-resistant foliage
